Core Service FAQ

Turbobay Performance Core Service

Turbobay Performance offers *3 different options when purchasing your turbo upgrade, please choose one of the following options at time of purchase:

Option 1. Sending Rebuildable Core

This option is for our customers who have a good condition turbo to send in as exchange at time of purchase. If selecting this option we will need to receive your good condition core as exchange within 1 week of time of purchase. It can be shipped to:

TURBOBAY PERFORMANCE LLC

1121 W Price BLVD #105

North Port FL, 34288

Once we receive the core we will inspect it to verify it's condition. If it is found to not be in good condition we will contact you with additional options. Inspection times may vary. Please see notes below regarding Core Inspection to help you determine if your core is in good condition before selecting this option.

Option 2. Refundable Core Charge

This option is great for our customers who do not have an extra good core to send in or or do not want to have the extra down time on their vehicle. If you select this option Turbobay Performance will begin your build and once complete send you your upgraded turbocharger, you will then have 30 days from receipt of the upgraded turbocharger to mail in your good core. Once Turbobay Performance receives your core we will inspect the core to verify its condition and notify you of the outcome.  A customer who has selected this option and sends in a good condition core within the 30 days of receipt of their upgrade will receive a refund of the core fee (please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds once approved). A customer who has selected this option, but does not send in a good condition core that passes inspection or that was not received within the 30 day time frame will forfeit any refundable core fee. Inspection time may vary. Please see notes below regarding Core Inspection to help you determine if your core is in good condition before selecting this option.

Option *3. Outright Purchase (this option is not available for all turbos)

If you do not have a good condition core to send in as exchange or you are simply choosing to keep your current turbocharger, then you will need to select this option and pay for a core.
